Gulf of Tonkin 2.0 and the battle for the agency of the working class

The Gulf of Tonkin incident was a false pretense used to get us into war with Vietnam. Vietnam was a weakened country that was being radicalized into a system that was not friendly to American interests. This is code for it was not friendly to United States business and elite interests. Whenever, a foreign policy failure occurs, which happens too often, it is often for the benefit of the rich and powerful. We install dictators that are friendly to big business, or as we like to call it “spreading democracy”. This sickening pattern has happened so many times since the … Continue reading Gulf of Tonkin 2.0 and the battle for the agency of the working class

Destiny the amazing streaming centrist: pt 2

The amount of dislikes probably surprised our dear centrist streamer but it would take a while to calm down for our mad lad. However, since the event he has spent most of his time on non-controversial content and gaming stuff. This I have no problem with and I think it is natural to want to calm down and collect himself. I honestly think he was surprised at how many lefties are in his community. I think he had an idea but he still underestimated it. He probably wanted to cull them from his community fast so he went hyperbolic and … Continue reading Destiny the amazing streaming centrist: pt 2

Destiny: Centrist Streamer Extraordinare

Destiny is a great debater and has certainly proven himself as a capable opponent for the right. He is also fairly sociopathic (as he himself states) and is pro-capitalist. Now, for most of my life, i wasn’t pro-capitalist or pro-socialism. I don’t think you can really be pro-anything unless you understand the ideas and the facts on the ground, and think it is better than the alternatives. I can’t say I ever really liked capitalism but I certainly wasn’t anti-capitalist. I was indifferent to it. I was forced into it and now I hate it. I hate the intrinsically cruel … Continue reading Destiny: Centrist Streamer Extraordinare

Why Capitalism must go Pt 1

In the West currently, there is a great dissatisfaction with ruling elites and their government representatives. The erosion of living standards, the continuation of unjust wars and the crises of other problems that can be solved by aren’t being solved, are some of the biggest problems around. However, the biggest danger is most likely climate change, which will cause extinction, mass immigration and collapses in entire communities. This isn’t even mentioning the likelihood of mass human death and even, extinction. If plant growth is significantly reduced this will have a negative effect on total food stores and the lack of … Continue reading Why Capitalism must go Pt 1

Hope and Hell

This is a rant that I gave a generic title to so that I might have the freedom to go on whatever tangents I feel I need to in this post. I feel that my writing flows better when I don’t try to organize too much and this is something I still am working on in regards to my dream of becoming a better writer. I believe my greatest weakness, writing wise, is that I rush and cannot channel my thoughts and ideas effectively. Here is a good example of this. When I was in middle school I went to … Continue reading Hope and Hell

Historic.ly Essay thoughts

It has been a while since I wrote more for my essay for the upcoming project with historic.ly. The team has been churning out content and I am so very happy they are so good at what they do. While I certainly wish I had been more active I am committed to putting in the best possible essay for the final product. However, our patrons and our team deserve an update. First of all, I would like to talk a bit about my own personal thoughts and interpretations of what I have learned. The actual essay will stick as tightly … Continue reading Historic.ly Essay thoughts

Social Democracy: a Critique

Right now, social democracy is being talked about seriously again for the first time since the Great Depression. The social democratic new Deal was put into effect by the Roosevelt administration in order to mitigate the worst effects of the Great Depression and to ward off the threats of both socialism and fascism. Social Democracy is a system based on a mixed economy and a strong welfare state. It allows government intervention in order to protect citizens from the excesses of capitalism. FDR saved capitalism from collapse but I do not think Social Democracy is a good long term solution. … Continue reading Social Democracy: a Critique
